Kids Playing with Others

by Joy Berry on June 18, 2023

Suggestions for best books for 4 year olds should include books that teach young children how to play with others respectfully. One of my books that does just that is Let’s Talk About Playing with Others.

Here’s some important information that young children can learn from Let’s Talk About Playing with Others:

When you treat others or their things with respect, you are being respectful.

You are being respectful when:

• You treat other people as if they are as important as you are,
• You do not insist on being first,
• You do not insist on having the most or the best for yourself,
• You do not insist that everyone notice you and no one else, or
• You do not insist on having your own way all the time,
• You do not say things that might hurt another person,
• You do not break or ruin another person’s things,
• You do not talk while another person is talking, or
• You do not make noise around a person who needs to have quiet.

Being respectful is good for others and it is good for you. It is important to treat other people the way you want to be treated. If you want others to treat you and your things with respect, you need to treat them and their things with respect.

Let’s Talk About Playing with Others speaks directly to young children and, in a fun and entertaining way, teaches them many other valuable tips for playing with others respectfully. Use the code PLAY for a free download through the end of 2023!
